We all know that modern Stand Up Paddle Boarding originated in Hawaii right?

But did you know that the true origin spans back thousands of years where Peruvian fisherman stood up in their boats made of bound reeds and used the waves to assist them back to shore! Want to know more?  Surf the web and enjoy some of the great images and many articles about the origin of SUP!

And why not join us for nostalgic “good times” and “good vibes” at SUP Tonic’s “Retro Luau”. We’re going back in time where things were simple and in our usual SUP Tonic style, we’ll have a few fun challenges to be revealed on the day! Dress code is Hawaiian. I’m sure all the guys have one of those Hawaiian shirts tucked away in the closet somewhere!

A “retro” refreshment and soft drink is also included in the ticket price!

• Location: Garvey Park Ascot (end of Fauntleroy Ave)
• Date: 27th February 2021
• 4.00 – 4.30 pm: Meet & greet, nibble and icebreaker
• 4.30 – 5.00 pm: Group warm up paddle
• 5.00 – 5.30 pm: Mystery challenge! Optional
• 5.30 onwards: Paddle, mingle, eat, chil
• Dress code: Hawaiian! (mandatory)
• Refreshment:  Light Refreshment and soft drink included in ticket price.
• Bring: Change of clothes, towel, water. BYO board or hire one of ours.
