Our SUP school caters to entry-level paddlers wanting to learn the basics of stand-up paddle boarding including safety awareness on the water. We are all about having fun in a safe environment on our beautiful Swan River.
We operate in three fantastic locations we call the Eastern Triangle!
Sandy Beach Reserve, Bassendean located at the end of the town hub makes this a very convenient spot for locals to come to. It’s dog friendly with BBQs, ablutions and plenty of free parking!
Garvey Park, Ascot is a relatively protected section of the Swan River offering a peaceful environment to learn stand-up paddle boarding. It is also home to the largest Kayak Club in Australia. It boasts abundant bird life, Ron Courtney Island and a well-facilitated park perfect for family picnics and special occasions.
Claughton Reserve, Bayswater is another great spot with a good sized beach, plenty of free parking, BBQ and home to the almost famous “Turtle Toilet” – it’s a work of art, not quite attracting the tourists yet but we are glad to have it in our patch!
Our fully accredited instructors will ensure you feel at ease on the water and will take you through the basic techniques of stand-up paddle boarding focusing on safety, explaining weather conditions and equally important, having fun!
