Garvey Park Ascot

Sup Launch Location:
Garvey Park, Ascot (end of Fauntleroy Avenue). Two beaches to launch from here in front of the kiosk or to the left about 50 meters.

Parking:
Plenty of free parking in two separate car parks.

Ablution Facilities:
Good ablution block

BBQ & Picnic Areas:
Several BBQ’s and picnic tables. Beautifully well maintained park with playground. Great for family picnics, kids parties etc.

Cafes:
Ascot Riverside Kiosk providing basic food, tea and coffee. Friendly staff and great position in front of the river!

Safety Notes/General Comments:
Be mindful of submerged tree branches and old jetty posts near the river’s edge. Random rocks are possible at the launch entry point. Some boat & ferry activity and is home to SUP Tonic Australia School & Hire and the Ascot Kayak Club.

Paddle around the tiny Ron Courtney Island, popular bird watching location and dog friendly.
